Summer 2008 rEAL Word Now Available

The Summer 2008 Edition of the rEAL Word newsletter is now available for download. In this issue we salute Captain Johnny Miller, a true legend of Eastern as he became the first autogiro pilot carrying mail in 1939.

The 2008 Silver Falcons Convention at Bay Point Marriott Resort, Panama City Beach, is coming up in November and the details of all the events are within the newsletter.

On May 31st the Silver Falcons held the Eastern Air Lines Flight Operations Fly In and Picnic and was pleased by the large turnout. There are plenty of pictures to view and aircraft on the grassy flight line.

The Silver Falcons are a unique and dedicated group of Eastern Crew Members who have remained together nearly twenty years and who share memories, friendship, a love of adventure, and a passion for flying. This website is not only for our members, but is also for those thousands of people who gaze at the sky and are in awe of the world of aviation and all the mysteries to be found in the sky.

Come inside and learn about our organization, why we were founded, who we are, and what we do. Share the movies and the pictures with us, read our newsletters, meet our members, and share our love for the freedom of flight.
